Introduction to the Theory of Knowledge (blog topic one)

Welcome to the Theory of knowledge. To begin the course we will use the TOK diagram to help us understand how we use the 'ways of knowing' like our senses or our ability to reason to understand the world around us and how they relate to 'areas of knowledge' like Science or History. For example, can we trust our senses when we can be so easily deceived? What are the implications of this problem when it comes to the empiricism involved in the Scientific method?

Can you think of any other interesting connections between the 'ways of knowing' and the 'areas of knowledge'? any problems between them? can you think of any other 'ways of knowing' or 'areas of knowledge'?
